Rally Day is Sunday, September 12. During the 9:45
Christian Education hour we will gather in Fellowship Hall A for the
installation of teachers. Following the installation, the pre-kindergarten
through 4th grade classes will meet in their classrooms. Fifth-graders, youth
and adults are invited to stay for a youth presentation on Rainbow Trail Camp
and the Mission Trip to Savannah, Georgia.

Ice Cream Sundaes (youth fund-raiser)
Music by the Mudbugs Cajun and Zydeco Band
(The Mudbugs traveled to New Jersey in April and were awarded
second place in
Prairie Home Companion's Battle of the Bands.)
Bingo, Fishpond, Water Balloons, Games
Bring lawn chairs for outdoor seating
Each family should bring a LARGE dish to share-Cajun fare welcome!

Wednesday Evening Meals will be served beginning on
Sept. 8th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall A. Suggested donation is $3 per
person with a maximum of $10 per family. A sandwich meal will be offered twice a
month, pizza and "Cook Tressie's Choice" the other two Wednesdays. Please sign
the list in Fellowship Hall A or notify the church office if you plan to
participate in Wednesday evening meals on a fairly regular basis.

A Sunday School Class for our 2 and
3 year olds in the "Noah's Ark" Classroom.

Presentation of Bibles to third graders will take
place on Sunday, September 19th. If you have a child in the 4th or 5th
grade that has not received a Bible and would like to participate please
contact the church office. |
