Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate With A
Conscience
Divine Chocolate has been added to the coffee and tea being sold the third
Sunday of the month after each service. The 1.5 oz. bars sell for $1.00 each.
Flavors are Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.
Because Divine Chocolate is Fair Trade Certified, participating in the LWR
Chocolate Project ensures that farmers receive a guaranteed price for their
goods and the security of long-term trading contracts. Farmers benefit from
guaranteed minimum health and safety conditions. Farmers, their workplace, and
the environment are not exploited. Education and training opportunities are
offered, especially for women and children.
The LWR Coffee Project ensures that more of the money you spend on coffee
reaches the farmers who actually grow it. Fair Trade Coffee is a simple solution
that means the difference - quite literally - between surviving and not
surviving for small coffee farmers. The Social Ministry Committee sells Fair
Trade Coffee the 3rd Sunday of the month.

United Methodist Open Door Food

diapers, paper goods, and personal hygiene products are especially welcome.
Clothes baskets for Klothes Kloset and Men's Clothes for St. Paul's
are placed in Fellowship Hall A, always ready to accept your contributions of
gently used clothing.
Second Sunday of the Month: GoZones! After School program needs fruit and
vegetables, both canned and fresh, which Laura Shriner will deliver to St.
Paul's each month. A box for your contributions will be found in the library. In
addition, cake mixes, frosting, and candles would be appreciated, since each
child's birthday is celebrated with a cake.
